Until I found out that I have to establish a year of in-state residence in NYC to qualify for in-state tuition my second year of the program. If I don't, I have to pay out of pocket the difference between in-state and out-of-state tuition. (I'm fully funded for up to five years.) Which now makes it more expensive for me to live with my mom for a few months than to live in the city (because I'll have to pay the difference in tuitions in year two).
So. I guess I'm moving to NYC. This fall.
